![]() ![]() PCStage can output Midi so if Qlab can accept Midi in then it might be a solution. I use it for lighting and sound, not used it for video yet. As the OP says, he uses the excellent PCStage software which controls lighting, sound, video etc. I tried to start a new show wiht the new 1.5 version, I mean a clean start (because I thought that may be those issues was because the show was created on 1.4 version and I'm trying to play with 1.5v) but anyway still happen, OSC not working and values change on 0 time on sheet. If it supports MIDI to advance cues, qlab does support MIDI Output with the appropriate interface. I tried to reinstall version 1.4.2.1, and OSC is working again, and changing values works fine again. ![]() fader to full, when I'm over 20% of the fader, the cue puts at full. ![]() The other thing is that, on my fixture sheet, when a do a GO+, the values for every dimmer changes on 0 time, but on the stage (on a real world), those dimmers change values corresponding on cue times, for example on 10 sec.Īlso, when a pull up the seq. So, where before OSC was working, with new version It's impossible to play cues, I imagine that the cmd is the same than previous version. There is no way to play a cue, the only thing that I could make it work is to move a fader to full or to zero. I'm on a Theatre basic show with only dimmers, and all cues played through OSC sended from a MacPro Qlab4. Please continue to offer your feedback. I and the team are listening, and we can revisit what your requests Isadora Werkstatt and see what can be done.I recently installed v1.5.2.1 on my PC windows based, where I had installed reviously v1.4.2.1. From my side, I want to see every feature in Isadora be as easy and robust as possible, beause every capability Isadora offers is increases its overall value. Ok so heres the deal, Were running a show on a new mac-OS Mojave version: 10.14.2 (3 GHz, Intel i5 Processor, 8 GB memory) and Using Qlab version: 4.4.4. That said, on the team uses ArtNet frequently so he is a fan, and this means you have someone who will push for a better implementation on the team. The start up procedure has to be followed exactly DMX lights and fixtures on and connected first, then turn on the AN2, then boot up QLab. Given that we have limited resources, we have to focus our energy towards the items that are most valuable to the most people. Ensure that your QLab compy has its IP settings correct and that QLab is configured to communicate with the default IP of the AN2. The implementation of ArtNet is relatively basic, and we haven't put loads of energy into it because we don't have a sense that ArtNet is important for the bulk of Isadora users. ![]() I just wanted to say I'm sorry you faced this frustration. (This is a simple plug to plug cable with all pins wired straight through, i.e. I wish Isadora would have a more integrated way to use Artnet or DMX. DMX inputs are connected to one of the DMX output connectors using a DMX male to male gender changer cable. It rly is not heavy on a computer so every Laptop with a dual core from the last 10 years will do. It is possible to sync via osc on the same mashine but I would advice against it and just take a second laptop to run Nomad. Said: Still it took me a day and a half to figure this out with the help of and the fix is only so-so. Thought you wanted to use the DMX-Feature of qlab with the Gadget. ![]()
